Back illustration design for Spare Parts clothing line for Michelob Wieden Kennedy

Raoul's is a West Village institution. For their first piece of self promotion since it's inception, we wanted to nod to their New York art scene roots with a Pop Art take on their Poivre Sauce, the secret ingredient to their signature steak au poivre.

Llama San is a Japanese-Peruvian "nikkei" restaurant in Manhattan. For this project we drew on the inspiration of salary man iconography from Japan, Manga pulp covers, and the Llama San mascot, the Llam San himself in a suit. I redrew the logo in sumi and digitized it.

All the direction we needed for the design on this successful piece was “Maine: Sunny Vacation Land.” The logo is custom type meant to evoke the local fishing boats nameplates.
