While living in Japan I became enamored of the vending machines that were such a huge part of everyday life and culture. I set out to do a series of illustrations of some of the drinks, a mix of my favorites (such as Wilkinonson, Oronamin, and Pocari Sweat) and some that always caught my eye. I'm planning a series of prints but made this gif parade for now. The background color is inspired by the Odakyu train line.
